If you're a Mega Man Fan, then I've got a real treat for you today! A completely free, super awesome, fan-made Mega Man game! The game is based on the classic Mega Man series, and I feel like it really combines all the best parts into one game. The soundtrack and graphics are made to resemble those of NES games, though the game itself is probably too advanced to run on an actual NES.
The game's creator, MegaPhilX (sweet nickname, right?), has loved Mega Man ever since he was a kid. About 7 years ago, he created some Flash animations of a possible Mega Man 10; based off of some robot masters he had designed as a kid. The fake "trailers" were so succesful, they even appeared on the official Capcom blog! Soon, work began on making this Mega Man 10 into a real game. Finally, after another five years, and a name change (Capcom released their own Mega Man 10 in 2010), Mega Man Unlimited was born.
If you want to download this amazing game, then why don't you head over to the official website here? The game-engine it runs on is built into the code, so all you need to do is download the .exe and run it. It was also programmed so well, that it runs impeccably in Wine; so you can still play it if you're a Mac user like myself.
